I pray for you, as if you wear a Crown,
You may leave me but I will'nt show frown.
With a new joyful world you may tempted,
But my straight love to you never distracted.
I stay with you both in dark and light,
You are unable to stay out of my sight.
If you found better happiness except me,
In that day I will look at a glance only thee.
Rest of the life you will bedew with my wishes,
In sleep and dream I think only your face.
Where ever you go must come back naturally,
Thus I retention you in life cumber eventually.

অচেনা পথিকের পদধ্বনি শুনি একলা পথে হাটে, থামেনা কোথাও ক্ষণিকের তরে সূর্য নামে পাটে। অাধাঁর ঘনাচ্ছে জন মানবহীন ধুঁধুঁ ফাকা মাঠে, কেউ তাঁর অাজ অপেক্ষায় নেই তাকিয়ে?  বাটে। ভিতর বাহির শুণ্য পথিক বিকায়েছে ভব হাটে, নোঙ্গর ছিড়েছে প্রতিবার তার যতবার ঘেঁষেছে ঘাটে। কত বসন্ত পিছু হটেছে মিছে কিছু বিভ্রাটে, রাহুর থাবায় পুর্ণিমার চাঁদ চৌচির হয়ে ফাটে। অশ্রুতো তার দেখেনি কেউ মিশেছে বৃষ্টির ছাটে, পুরাণো কিছু স্মৃতির পাতায় পথিকের প্রহর কাটে। ১৪.৪.১৭
